Directions to the Silversand Natural Horsemanship Centre
DIRECTIONS FROM ADELAIDE AND GAWLER
Silversand Natural Horse-Man-Ship Centre is about a one hour's drive north of Gawler on the Sturt Highway.
Take the Gawler By-pass ( Sturt Highway ) from Gawler to Truro and head towards Blanchetown. About 30 kilometres further on you will pass Brookfield Conservation Park on your left .(which is about 12km before Blanchetown).
A few kilometres further on you see will a large colour sign for the Riverland.
Two kilometres after this sign on the left is Park Road.
This post also has a small blue Silversand Natural Horse-Man-Ship Centre sign on it. (The other land mark that may help you is a mobile phone tower which is situated on Park Road and can be seen for some distance.)
Turn into Park Road and our entrance is 3.5 kilometres up on the right. You will pass a couple of houses on the left and a no through road sign on the way up but keep going . The entrance has a large Silversand sign at the gateway.
If you are bringing a horse trailer please park in the parking area on the right opposite the first shed on the driveway.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE RIVERLAND
Take the Sturt Highway to Blanchetown and keep on going past the BP Service station towards Truro.
About 8 kilometres further up on the right hand side at the top of the hill is Park Road . You will see the mobile phone tower on this road which is a good indication of where to turn. Turn right into Park Road (there is also a small blue Silversand Natural Horsemanship sign at the entrance to Park Road) and our entrance is 3.5 kilometres up on the right .You will pass a couple of houses and a no through sign on the way up but keep on going. The entrance has a large Silversand sign at the gateway.
