We had Karen French, our local Associate over for a lesson yesterday, which was really helpful. This is going to be a big winter of homework for us I think. Getting my legs connected to Zorro's hindfeet is Mission A!

Well we're saving up for a visit to Australia next spring so it will be 2010 at best before we find ourselves in California, but when we do I would certainly like to be at the right time to get to that as well as touristing around the place.

How do folks, yes it is me Poghag, and now you've heard of " vaquero " I'm afraid to say you're now hooked, it all makes perfect sense, and yes it does run parallel with classical. I will get round to putting video footage on our website, right now I'm taking advantage of this fantastic dry weather!
I think there will be a serious interest in this way of training, we've been out competitng in WES shows, dressed in buckaroo gear, wade saddles and hackamores, It is amazing how many people come up to us outside the ring wanting to know about it. The interest is there, now wouldn't that be great if we could get a load of people all training bridle horses?? you're right Ben, at the heart it is sound horsemanship, that can never die.
I've got a heap of bosal suppliers, good ones aren't cheap, but they're worth every penny. let me know if anyone wants to know where to get good ones from.
So when are you going to get to the Californios Ben? We went last year and was supposed to go again this year but i did my back in. You"ll never experience anything quite like it! AWESOME!
